My first FromSoft game, and I came to it late, in 2023. It clicked in the first hour: this is a real RPG, I have to get strong before I can beat anything. So I went and got strong in Limgrave, and then I killed Margit. Great success. More than 1,300 hours later I have finished it on more builds than I can count, and I still load it just to explore and fight and be cool. If I could show you one thing without spoiling it, it would be an elevator that goes down for far too long, and then a whole other world underneath the one you were in. Before this my favourite game was The Witcher 3. Best game ever made. For maximum enjoyment, play it without any summons.
